This bright-colored wine offers a surprisingly discreet nose of green apple, pear, yoghurt, white flowers, acacia honey and herbs, all wrapped into a fleeting touch of volatile acidity at this early stage. The wine is remarkably feather-light on the focused and delicately zesty palate and leaves a pure and clean feel of white peach, chalky minerals and some honey in the long but focused finish. This rather delicate expression of Auslese will need a few years to develop its aromatics and intensity.
